UPDATING MY PORTFOLIO

Hello,

I'm Shels L Pixi, a Multimedia Content Creator, graphic designer, and digital marketer with a passion for storytelling, creativity, and lifelong learning.

You may know me as the founder of Let's Talk About The Music (LTATM), where I support independent artists through podcasting, blogging, and multimedia content. This portfolio is where I showcase the creative work behind the scenes—from graphic design and digital marketing to photography, content creation, and personal projects that continue to shape my journey.

Beyond my work, I'm an artist, hand drummer, hobbyist model, and someone who believes creativity is about connecting with people through meaningful stories and experiences.

Page Layout Designer

I was honored to receive an amazing work-study position starting in Fall 2026; it’s a role I truly enjoy and one that brings me back to the kind of work I loved doing in high school. I design a page for my high school yearbook, which sparked my interest in becoming a page layout designer. I’m hopeful that working with The Observer at CWU will give me the hands-on experience and skills I need to pursue that career.

A new page will be created for this experience, and a Creative Note blog post will be written and published later.

The Journey of The Fuzzy Dice.

Let's Talk About The Music (LTATM) is my pride, joy, and passion. More than a podcast, LTATM has become a multimedia platform that reflects my growth as a designer, marketer, content creator, and storyteller.

Building LTATM inspired me to return to college, where I earned my Associate of Arts in Business from Green River College and continued my education in Graphic Design at Central Washington University, with minors in Marketing. Along the way, I received leadership recognition from KGRG-FM, where I gained hands-on experience in radio operations, broadcasting, and media production. Those experiences became the foundation for the creative work I produce today.

LTATM is dedicated to supporting independent musicians through meaningful conversations, podcasting, blogging, digital content, and multimedia storytelling. Every project is an opportunity to combine graphic design, digital marketing, content strategy, website management, photography, and social media to create a richer experience for artists and audiences alike.

After placing LTATM on a six-year hiatus to focus on my mental health, overcome homelessness, and rebuild my life, I returned with a renewed purpose. That journey shaped not only the brand but also the creative professional I have become. Today, LTATM represents resilience, continuous learning, and a commitment to helping independent artists share their stories through thoughtful, engaging media.
