Shels L Pixi Honeysuckle has been an artist her entire life.

It all began in childhood with simple black-and-white drawings—cat cartoons, flying unicorns, and anything else her imagination could dream up. As she grew, her work evolved into still life and more refined artistic styles. Recognizing her talent, Shels’ mother once shared her sketches with a house designer who remarked, “She’ll be great in this field.” That prediction proved true—though Shels’ journey would follow a creative path all her own.

At one point, she dreamed of becoming a cartoonist—specifically, a background artist who brought scenes to life with houses, trees, and whimsical environments. That love for visual storytelling eventually led her to graphic design at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, WA, where she also explored web design and animation.

In 2005, she launched Honeysuckle Studios & Designs, focused on helping small businesses find their visual voice. A decade later, she founded Let’s Talk About The Music (LTATM)—a multimedia platform that promotes independent musicians. Her design skills became a core part of the LTATM brand, from posters to promos to social media marketing.

While redeveloping LTATM at Green River College, Shels pursued a degree in business management. Along the way, she was encouraged to reimagine her graphic design work as a creative business—one that blends her passion for marketing with her love of storytelling. That’s how Shels L Pixi was born.

Beyond the screen, Shels performed as “The Pixi” from 2012 to 2018, appearing at fairy festivals and even doing some modeling. While that was more hobby than profession, it added another layer to her creative identity.

Today, Shels is fully focused on building LTATM and Shels L Pixi Media—two brands that complement each other. Through Shels L Pixi, she offers promotional design, marketing, blogging, and visual reels—with LTATM's own marketing package serving as a demo of what she can do for other small businesses.
