Page Layout Designer:
Page layout design combines creativity with organization to communicate information in a clear, engaging, and visually appealing way. From newspapers and magazines to brochures and publications, I create layouts that balance typography, imagery, and visual hierarchy to guide readers through each page while supporting the overall story.
Personal Note:
I aimed to be a Page Layout Designer since high school, but radio and my project LTATM (Let’s Talk About The Music) took over. I’ll keep LTATM even if I hire help or pursue page layout full-time.
Featured Projects:
1993 – First Page Layout Design
High School Yearbook
My first experience with page layout design began in high school while working on the yearbook. It introduced me to the fundamentals of organizing text, photographs, and graphics to tell visual stories.
Project: High School Yearbook (1993)
Role: Student Page Layout Designer
Tools Used: Graph paper, pencil, rulers, and traditional paste-up layout techniques.
About the Project:
My first experience with page layout design began in high school while working on the 1993 yearbook. Long before Adobe InDesign and digital publishing became the standard, I learned the fundamentals of page layout by sketching designs on graph paper with pencil and planning the placement of text and photographs by hand.
This experience taught me the importance of composition, spacing, visual hierarchy, and storytelling through layout—principles that continue to guide my work today, even with modern digital tools.

Postcards & Promotional Layouts
LTATM Postcards & Promotional Layouts
As I continued building Let's Talk About The Music (LTATM), I expanded my page layout skills by designing promotional postcards and marketing materials to support podcast episodes, live events, and community outreach. These projects challenged me to organize information in a clear, visually engaging way while maintaining consistent branding and communicating key messages effectively.
Creating these layouts strengthened my understanding of publication design, visual hierarchy, typography, and print-ready production, while reinforcing the importance of designing with both the audience and the purpose in mind.
